Musings, relevant and otherwise...
Titles and One Line Summaries:
by Y. M. Rivadeneira on 04/10/11
I have two completed novel drafts, currently in the editing phase. Titles and one line summaries are as follows:
1. Tales of Captain Julien: Book One: The Selene's Secret:
Murder ignites a chase through time as an 18th Century Sea Captain and his love contend against the twisted vengeance of their enemy.
2. Tales of Captain Julien: Book Two: The Key's Containment
Captain Julien continues through time, testing fate's limits and battling his nemesis in hopes of saving his lost love.
The editing is moving along slowly, but it's moving!

I've opened a public Facebook Page, Y.M.Rivadeneira. Much appreciation towards all who visit and "like" me there! It is another useful avenue to keep you updated on my writing, editing and the publishing processes as I go along.
Thanks for visiting!

Connecting sites...
by Y. M. Rivadeneira on 02/25/10
Well, I've managed a little, at least on this blog. I've got my Livejournal and Twitter updates to scroll here through RSS feeds. For some reason, Twitter posts twice, and I can't figure out how to change it.
I will continue trying to get all these sites connected, and the kinds ironed out, but... this IS progress.
Yes.
And now I want to do something else, something non-html related. My brain feels fried.

Getting Started...
by Y. M. Rivadeneira on 02/24/10
Greetings and welcome!
Well yes, I've had my live journal blog open for a while, but it's time I get the official web site opened, and so, here we go!
I've been working on my novel in progress since September 2007, and in January 2010 I completed my first draft. That was the latest in Big News. I've been letting that part of the story rest for a while, so I will have a fresh view of it when I come back to editing. Though I have come far, I still have a ways to go before I'm ready to submit.
Now, tasks keeping me busy include brainstorming how the story continues, outlining it, researching the publishing process, and setting up this site.
Feel free to follow my progress here. Your comments are welcome. Or, if you'd like, add me on Livejournal, Facebook or Twitter, my other online haunts, though I warn you, I'm not yet familiar with Twitter...
I'll be crossposting this to my Livejournal, FB and Twitter, I hope.
